Through 1030 PM EDT...a broken line of showers and thunderstorms will continue to move to the northeast to east around 30 mph from the Gulf waters of Mainland Monroe through the southern everglades and into the southern portion of Biscayne Bay. Some locations that could be affect are Flamingo...Homestead...and Florida City. Wind gusts up to 35 mph...lightning strikes...and heavy rainfall will accompany the storms. If you see lightning or hear thunder...move inside until the storms have passed by. Mariners can also expect higher seas in and near the showers and thunderstorms.
