Mobile Bay-

Synopsis
Low pressure weakens as it tracks eastward over the north central Gulf today. Winds will become mostly west then northwest and gradually decrease through the day and into tonight as high pressure builds over the central Gulf Coast region. A light offshore flow will continue over the marine area through early Wednesday as the ridge of high pressure settles over the region. Northerly winds and seas will build Wednesday night through Thursday as a reinforcing cold front moves south over the north central Gulf.

Variable winds less than 10 knots this morning becoming west 10 to 15 knots early in the afternoon. Bay a light chop. Slight chance of showers...mostly in the morning.

Tonight
West winds 10 to 15 becoming northwest late. Bay waters smooth a light chop

Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots early decreasing to 5 to 10 knots in the afternoon. Bay waters a light chop becoming mostly smooth in the afternoon.

Monday Night
Northwest winds around 10 knots becoming northeast late. Bay waters smooth to a light chop.

Tuesday
Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Bay waters mostly smooth.

Tuesday Night
Northeast winds around 10 knots becoming north 10 to 15 knots late. Bay waters a light to moderate chop.
